We are the premier Pro Tackle, Kayak Sales and Rentals and Clothing retailer on St George Island. We are the authorized Hobie and Malibu Kayak dealer in the Florida Big Bend From Port St Joe, Apalachicola, St George Island to Tallahassee. We carry a full line of kayak accessories as well.
We also rent kayaks - tandems for fun and single kayaks outfitted for fishing with rod holders.

Island Outfitters is captain owned and operated. We've been going strong since 2003. Capt Larry Troy has fished these waters since the 70's offshore and inshore. He has since retired from charter fishing and with his wife Angela they now run the shop. Stop by for free fishing advice any time. New to fishing - we'll be glad to hook you up and even teach you how to cast.

There’s a hot new trend out there in the water right now, called the Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP), and it’s taking over the water! I think it’s safe to also say that Stand-Up Paddle Boarding is the closest we’re ever going to come to walking on the water.
SUP’s or stand up paddle boards are not only a fun new spin on the old surfing sport, but they are a great workout as well. Rowing with your paddle will give you a great beach body for the summer, and keep you in tiptop shape for other sports. If you are a new surfer or and expert, stand up paddle boarding is a fun way to both exercise or have a great new adventure to share with your whole family.
